My name is Denise Ama Ghartey and I am currently in my fourth and final year at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY in the USA. I am in the process of planning a research trip to Germany and while I am there I would love to volunteer and get to learn about and make connections with the youth in Germany by volunteering and contributing my time. I was wondering if it would be possible to volunteer with your organization, New Generation, during my stay in Germany from February – April approximately.

I have had a lot of experience working in non-profit organizations and I am proud to say that I am a product of organizations similar to New Generation and I would not be where I am today without the help of organizations such as these. I have worked in the urban public school systems in NY for three years now teaching Math Literacy and Social Justice workshops with a program called The Young People’s Project as well as participated in a lot of theatre and performing arts social activists organizations. I would love to help out in any way possible. Thank you for taking the time to entertain my requests and I hope that I can be of some service. It would also be very helpful if you know of any other organizations that might be willing to welcome me into their ranks during this time if you do not need any extra help.
